The World Architect
“I keep track of who your characters are to each other, and how each one treats the other as the story moves.”
The World Architect remembers who your characters are to each other. It knows that two of them are sisters, and that one has stopped trusting the other since episode four, and it tells whoever writes or shoots the next scene.
Responsibilities
- Keeps every bond in your cast: who two characters are to each other.
- Keeps each side's own stance: what one wants from the other, what they hold back and how they speak to them.
- Remembers where in the story a stance changes, so every scene after it plays the change.
- Hands the Director how the people in a shot stand toward each other, so the camera can show it.
